Peggy, chef/owner always had a love for baking which turned into a love for making candy when she started making fudge and entering contests. Her chocolate fudge won many blue ribbons and she was encouraged to make her fudge available to the public by the owner of a local candy shop. She has since developed unique flavor combinations like cherries and toasted almonds in her “Cherry Blossom” fudge and chili spices in her “Hot Chocolate” fudge. Savagely Good fudge has been purchased for large scale events by corporations such as Subaru of America, as well as local weddings and craft fairs.  The fudge is truly hand made and you can find it in Candie’s Candies in Alexandria, VA
